The Technical Monuments in Region And How to Use Them in Primary School Education

This diploma thesis describes the topic of technical monuments of the region and their use in teaching at the primary school. In the theoretical part, I deal with four main areas. The first area is devoted to the characteristics of the child of younger school age. The second area deals with primary technical literacy, its goals, concepts and components. The third area gives a brief description of the technical areas in the RVP ZV. The fourth and final area deals with the characteristics of selected objects of the pupil's place of residence for application in technical education at the primary school. The practical part contains three lesson preparations and two preparations that have been implemented. The developed and verified preparations are intended for pupils from the second to the fifth year of primary school. The practical part contains worksheets and reflections from the lessons.

Possible Ways of Using Regional Objects as Ideas for Technical Excursions at Primary School

The diploma thesis is focuses on uses of regional objects as ideas for technical excursions at the primary school. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is divided into six theoritical areas. The first area is focused on motivational teaching methods. The second area is devoted to activating teaching methods at primary school. The third area includes the clarification of key concepts such as: research-oriented teaching, technical education, technical literacy and technical creativity. Part four describes technical subjects in Educational program for basic education. The fifth area is focused on the description of the organizational form - an excursion. The final area of the theoretical part offers the characteristics of regional objects with the technical focus of the selected region, which are used in the processed topics. The practical part includes five topics of technically focused objects, which can be implemented in teaching with primary school pupils.

Industrial Heritage of Kladno

Industrial buildings and businesses are inherently to face the Central Bohemian city of Kladno. Through field research is captured in the work of the Kladno current state of industrial monuments and mapped their history. I used only specific cases that are written between technical monuments and they are interesting both from a historical and urban or technical perspective. Thanks capture the historical and contemporary situation arose holistic view of technical monuments in the area and at the same time there was a familiarity with the approach and in terms of the industrial heritage. The work is divided into three main parts. The first is devoted to an introduction to the issues and explain the basic concepts. The second part focuses on the history of metallurgy and mining in the Kladno and also explores the main sights, except where their history is mentioned as the current status. The third section shows the current utilization of monuments, looking for inspiration in the Czech Republic and abroad, how to dispose of unused objects and finally introduces activities that help attract the public's interest in technical monuments and sights mainly to help themselves. The goal is to design a tour to increase the utilization of the selected technical monuments in Ostrava city, as it is a region where many of the interesting technical monuments are located.

Industrial Heritage in Ostrava CityTourism

The aim of the work is to analyze a specific technical monument in Ostrava in the context of its influence on tourism. The chosen monument is an industrial area Dolní Vítkovice which was declared as a national cultural monument and European Heritage and belongs to the Czech Tentative List for inscription on the World Heritage List UNESCO. Theoretical part of this work deals with tourism in the Czech Republic and in Ostrava and also with industrial heritage definition and classification, its restoration, historic preservation and how to integrate industrial heritage into tourism.

The technical monuments as a part of tourism in the region of Týn nad Vltavou

This thesis processes a database of technical monuments in the city of Týn nad Vltavou and its surroundings. There was made a survey and controlled interviews with local businessmen and on its basis two plans of tourist routes and one cycle route were created. These plans of technical monuments include also its financing and project of new bike rentals.

The main objective of this bachelor work is to analyse condition of technical monuments and technical attractivites, which are situated in the region Českokrumlovsko. The subordinate objective of this bachelor work is composition of particular product. Designed product in form of trail that would visit technical monuments and technical attractivites will call attention not only for their use in tourism, but also for their continuation with other cultural monuments and natural interests in the region of Český Krumlov.This work describe notions relating to notion technical monument, dispense technical monuments according to many criteria, contain usual characteristics of the region Český Krumlov and deal with individual technical monuments.
